A webserie that follows the personal creative process of 3 fashion designers from start to finish

Building The Ark is a webserie I written and directed. It is a blend documentary and fashion film, which embraces the story of International Talent Support, an international competition for young fashion designers, and gravitates around 3 design special projects that were created expressely for this serie and commissioned by sponsors Diesel, Swatch and Allianz.

3 DESIGNERS

working on 3 different concepts. Justin, Noa and Olivia document on video their inspiration, research, techniques and daily achievements. The documentary part offers great insights on designers’ lives and their view on art as well as their worflow and personal skills.

A SURREAL JOURNEY

Spanning from desert and antique shops to lucid dreams and psychedelic dimensions, we revive the past and the future of ITS by following an ethereal muse in her quest for a vision. Each episode features a different outfit and is connected to the next through the discovery of a new accessory, both belonging to the ITS creative archive.

Following the creation process of the 3 projects along 5 months, from brief to project presentation, experimentation, manufacturing, until the complete final pieces.

The production:
The 2020 edition of International Talent Support consisted in a fully digital event. Fashion and accessories collections and artworks were sent to us and we made a 2-days very intense shooting. I designed the stage, storyboarded, directed and later edited the whole video.
